You Get a Line, I'll Get a Pole

We went on our first camping trip to Lake Somerville this month. It was so much fun. You won't find any pictures of the men on this entry, because they spent the whole time fishing.

All the comforts of home were moved outside. It took a lot of packing though.

Mama, Gigi, and the babies went for walks.

This is Aunt Ginger. She's Memaw's sister. She lives in Batson, TX. You've never heard of it, I'm sure, but it's really nice.

This is Memaw's sister, Gerry. She lives in Conroe.

This is Sister Bear and Memaw's sister, Debbie. Sister and Aunt Debbie cuddled up a lot. We got a good picture, so Prissy could remember it when she got older.

Here's Jackson and Memaw sprawled out on the floor of Memaw's camper.

Aunt Debbie is about to wet her pants laughing at Memaw. Memaw was talking about a WAKE at a funeral, but she kept using the word ORGY instead. She didn't know what that meant, and used it over and over. Who knew funerals could be so funny? Silly Memaw! Who knows what kind of hits we'll get on this page now with the "O" word on here...

Alligator Crawl

In the last month, Jackson and Presley have become pretty mobile. I can't complain, because they are still pretty managable. I'm expecting much worse when they can go in two different directions.
This is a series of pictures to help you see the progression. Notice little Prissy. She is up on her knees and rocking, like a baby should. Jackson just sees the toy and decides he will yell to see if someone will hand it to him before he tries to go get it. It is very hard to lift that big ol' belly up.

Jackson: Fine. I guess I'm gonna have to go get it myself.

Notice Jackson didn't make it very far, but he has the doll. Sometimes the yelling wins and he is handed the toy. Critisize if you want, but you're not there at night listening to it. Presley is still behind rocking away. Don't worry. I can tell you how this story ends...in a few weeks, Presley figures out how to crawl the right way and beats Jackson to every toy. Now Jackson is trying to figure out how to do it the right way.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy I've Got Love In My Tummy!

Look at those eyes sparkle. This boy loves to eat. This is Jackson and Presley's first time to eat baby food and it's going pretty well for Brother.

Sister looks like she enjoying this, but as you'll see below, she hates baby food.

Presley: what is this crap you call carrots?

Jackson: could you please be a little quicker getting that stuff in my mouth? I'm starving here!

YUM! CARROTS!!

Go Tell It On The Mountian

Thanks, Aunt Tina and Uncle Mark, for being our Godparents!

Jackson decided he was qualified to read the book while hi sister poured the holy water. The two of them are ready for anything.

Presley wanted to go ahead and do the baptism herself.

Jackson looked handsome too!

Jackson and Presley were baptized on February 18, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Danbury. Gigi and Pappy bought Presley’s gown and bonnet in Belgium while Pappy was working in Terneuzen. Doesn’t she look like a doll?

Jump! Jump!

Jackson is a jumper. If he's in his Johnny Jump Up, he's jumping. If he is in his mommy's lap, he's jumping. If he's standing on the floor, and his mommy is holding his hands, he's jumping. It's his biggest talent. When he sees someone new, as soon as they hold him in their lap, he jumps and then looks at them like, "am I not the cutest thing you've ever seen?" What a show off.

Let's Hear It For the Boy

Who wouldn't love this face? He's just as sweet as he looks too.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Here's Presley, Avery and Cowgirl Bootsy (Avery's new puppy) at Memaw's house. All the great grandgirls on the Sulak side of the family.

"Isn't she lovely?"

Even Stevie Wonder could see that this little girl is beautiful.
Sorry to everyone for the delay in the update of the blog. I told all of you at the beginning that this was a new years resolution. I'd like to know who else out there hasn't slipped a little on their resolutions.
