Spring and Easter and weddings are all we've been about. Along with a great Mother's Day and an Alford family reunion a few cousins' birthdays, and Papoo's 55th birthday. We've had tons of reasons for cake, which is what my brother is all about. I'm more mature than that. I've even progressed to calling Mama, Mom now. I play waitress a lot now, and yell my orders to the pretend short order cook behind the TV. My Gigi says that a great imagination is the sign of great intellegence. I, of course, already knew that. I talk to Mom pretty much every morning on the way to Ms. Victoria's about going to school. After I have my next birthday party, I'll go to school.

Check me out with my pink tie. Presley thought she was hot stuff with her white gloves on Easter and at our cousin Kristen's wedding, but she didn't get to wear a tie. My Papoo wears a tie on special occassions and Papoo and I are pretty tight these days. I've been on a sugar high for about a month now, and I ask my mama for candy for just about any small accomplishment I have. Pottying, picking up toys, smiling, breathing. I'm also into starting every sentence with "I want..." Sometimes I start that sentence, but can't really come up with something to follow. That's when I usually just stick to asking for candy. She says no a lot, but I'm learning how to work my dimples just right. I'll have her wrapped around my finger in no time.
